Christmas This and That...
First and foremost - Johnny's latest project and addition to the house is a beautiful fireplace that is romantic and cool and functional. I love it! The kids love it! He did an excellent job! It took many many hours of hard work and planning and we will enjoy it for years I know.
Framing up the wall and putting in the fireplace and all of the pipe.

TA DAAA!!
It looks like the wall is covered with barn wood, but its actually cement tile that LOOKS like old barn wood. Its the coolest thing ever! Its amazing what is out there that you would never even know about until you start a project like this.

Our Christmas at our house with the kids...
This is HAPPINESS! (Remember the happiness in Hayden's face for later)

My husband and kids got a mother's ring for me. I was so so surprised and happy. Its beautiful! (wishing I'd had a manicure before Christmas now...)
Now, this is the moment that Johnny gave the kids their big presents that he picked out for them. Air soft guns. Now two of the children were so happy. But one was not. He says he doesn't like to do things where people might get hurt. (And really, who could blame him? I feel the same) I think this picture adequately sums up the experience of the air soft gun gift:
Two very happy - one visibly distressed. Those are real tears. He later had lots of fun with them when he realized no one would get hurt. Then it was okay.
Christmas across the Panhandle - with Moms and Dads and Grandparents and Uncles and Aunts and Cousins!!
Thank you Aunt Treasa and Uncle Kelly for the awesome pillow cases!! Johnny and I got camo ones. Sorry I didn't get a picture of those. But they are cool and I love them and they are on my bed right now!!!
