We've just experienced the biggest snow storm I can even remember! 19 inches in Amarillo and around 12 inches in our front yard. Two days of school being cancelled and our roads being closed. Wow. But what fun too! And we found out Paige really loves the snow!

Pretty Snow Day
A picture of the tree in our front yard. We had such a pretty wet snow. What a blessing - but not for Hayden - he was bummed he had to go to school.
When we play... we play hard!
We had a play day at a cool place in Lubbock, Texas called Adrenaline City. Laser tag, trampolines, ropes course - my family is alllll over it!
They really had fun on the ropes course. I stayed firmly on the ground and took pictures. Gladly...
That was such a fun place. We will definitely go there again. And then a couple of weekends ago, we had a 70 DEGREE SUNDAY!!! Its currently in the 20's and we got about 5 inches of snow here today, so 70 DEGREES was a big surprise for January. And we took advantage by going out to Palo Duro Canyon for the day.

Checking out the score after laser tag.
Take a room full of trampolines... add dodge ball... its like heaven! Happy kids. Happy Johnny too. That was such a fun place. We will definitely go there again. Two Basketball Players
You might remember, Aerin is a pro at basketball. She's been playing for quite a while now, and this year was no exception. Sadly, we only got to see a couple of her games this year, but she wowed us in the games that we saw! She's really good and I know she loves it - you can tell by the way she plays.
Now this was actually Hayden's very first experience with basketball. He had a very different season. He was on the Eagle's B Team for the 7th graders and only played three games his whole season. But, Hayden played hard in each game and even scored a couple of times. He was happy with his season, so we were happy with his season too. On to track next - and all 3 kids are practicing up for their first track meet.
Ok yes, this is Tyler. Just a random Tyler picture. Not a basketball player- but he's taller than any of us in this family... Go figure!
