Happy Birthday Hayden!

We had an early birthday for Hayden since Shane and Jenny and Sidney and Jack had come to visit.  He didn't seem to mind!  We did have a fun day at a waterpark on his birthday Thursday too!

Hayden isn't a birthday cake fan.  He asked for monkey bread... so I made mini monkey bread.  And we always have a dinosaur candle too.  Its just a thing with Hayden.  Every birthday and every Christmas if you ask, "Hayden, what do you want?" he answers... "Oh, a dinosaur."



His Superman cape.  He got it at Six Flags.  There's just something cool about a cape.  I think I should wear one to work.  Would certainly make the day more fun!



Look at the beautiful kids in our family.  Growing up way to quickly, but turning into wonderful, loving people. 



~ Way to Go Aerin at Nationals ~ Fun in San Antonio~

 Its a big post.  We've been busy.  So the low down on the latest for our family...

 We traveled to San Antonio the second week in July to watch Aerin compete at the Junior Olympic National Trampoline and Tumbling Championships. 

She walked away with a 5th in her flight for tumbling and 8th in her flight for trampoline. 



 We were a very loud and proud cheering section.

                                                       

We did do a ton of sight seeing in San Antonio. The kids loved the city and everything we did. We had my mom and dad and my niece Sidney and nephew Jack along with us. It was so much fun!

We really enjoyed the pool!!

And Fiesta Texas was so much fun!  Especially once we got all the kids together!



They could have stood out there all day and waited for the boat to come by and splash them.  It was HOT!

This was a terrible spinning, rolling, tossing, pukey ride that Aerin and Tyler loved....



... and feared both at the same time.  They rode it 3 times!!

And this was more Jack, Sidney and Hayden's speed!!

 And Hayden and Tyler both climbed a rock wall.  I'm TERRIFIED!!! of heights, (and yes, I do get in the tree stand and hunt, but I almost hyperventilate doing it) so I was totally impressed with them both.  Tyler made it to the top and rang the bell.  Hayden got close.  They both just LET GO and repelled down and that was very impressive to their scared mom.
