Christmas makes me sleepy...

Little angels (well, most of the time) sound asleep. Its hard work being good at Christmas time...makes you tired!!

Christmas Project

Johnny's big Christmas Project was to redo an old Tokheim 39 gas pump for a gentleman in Pampa. These are pictures of the pump after he's sand blasted, primed, painted and is getting it put together...yes, in the kitchen.

We weren't quite ready to let it go. He did such a great job!

Christmas Play

Tyler is a wise man and Hayden is a camel. They were precious in their play. Tyler wanted to keep the beard. That didn't happen.

The Kids

Our little "deer" Aerin was in a play, "Anansi and theMoss Covered Rock", and she was the cutest bush deer ever.

Johnny's BIGGER Buck

He was patient and let ME shoot the first buck of the season... and his patience was rewarded. His is much bigger! And its much prettier too.

My First Buck!

I just had to share this. Its too cool!!! I shot my first buck on Sunday, the 24th, and it was amazing. Sorry, picture is a little gross, but I didnt mind. Its a 4 point, which means it has 2 antlers on either side. Not a big trophy buck, but I could care less! We'll have juicy steaks and deer jerky soon. How awesome! By the way, is this anything that you would think I'd ever do? LOL... and it was so cool!!!

Family Time

I just love this picture. We love taking the kids out fishing or riding - anything outdoors when we are all together. We found this little pond and we had pretty good luck. It was a warm and perfect October day with the kids.

Halloween

We had a James Bond Spy, a Spider Witch and an Incredible Hulk this Halloween. (And a mom and a dad... no disguises there.)And they all had a great time going to everyone's house - thanks Misty for the pics- and got TOO MUCH candy!!!

PUMPKIN TIME

We have some awesome pumpkin carvers in our family!!

And as you might be able to tell, Tyler wants to be a spy for Halloween.

TREE HOUSE

The kids - well, Johnny mostly - worked extremely hard for about a month, and now they have an amazing tree house!! They are so very proud. And we decided that we would throw a SURPRISE! THANK YOU! party for Johnny for the awesome new tree house. And yes, all 5 of us got up in the tree house. The kids made pizza and cookies, decorated the tree house and we played games. He was very surprised.

Happy Birthday, Aerin!!!

Aerin turned nine in August. She had a very cool and "grown-up" party. I think she's pretty cool and "grown up" herself!!

Johnny's Surprise!

Johnny called on his way home and said, "I've got a surprise for the kids! Don't let them look outside!" And this was our surprise - and yes, the kids were thrilled. Well, two of them anyway...

Aerin was the first to go and she did a great job... and then she had a bit of a crash. But she's tough, and had a cool black eye the first day of school! She was excited about that.

And Tyler was the next to go, and he really loved it and even started doing a few wheelies. Sorry, mom didn't get pictures of the wheelies. My eyes where closed praying at the time...

And then there is sweet Hayden who didn't like riding the bike at all... can you see the tears and look of panic? You can't hear the yelling... and you're welcome. He did decide later that the bike wasn't so scary and Johnny wasn't trying to kill him.

We had family pictures made last weekend. And by the way - I think my kids are so cute!!!

Wedding of My Dreams!

I really can't say much... it was the wedding I wanted with my kids right beside me, and standing next to the man of my dreams. Fairytales DO come true!!
