Christmas has begun!

First Christmas stop.. Grandmas.
We had a beautiful, fun evening and our family was so blessed.

Tyler's 1st Deer

Its now official - everyone on this blog has harvested a deer! Tyler was the last, but he did a great job taking this buck. Our freezer is full and we are BLESSED. Great shot for Tyler. I now have a beautiful picture of all of our kids with their first deer to put on the wall upstairs by the fire place.
He named his deer St. Nicholas.  But then he changed it to some guy on call of duty.. that I don't remember... so lets go with St. Nicholas.

Hunting Pictures - this and that....

Here are a few hunting pictures from our season so far. One kill... One... We are low on meat - I've got two growing boys and Aerin eats deer steak like crazy!!!

This picture is an acurate description of our hunting trips.  Johnny scouting out the canyons for deer.  Tyler distracted by Hayden.  And Hayden... well, I don't know.  He's got a good imagination.  Probably pretending to be a sumo wrestler or something.

He's not really into hunting if he's not the one shooting.  But he's along for the walk!
Here is our one kill.  A good sized doe.  Good shot Johnny!

Hayden's turn.  He's so pumped.  He sat STILL AND QUIET in this blind for about 5 hours.  Nothing came by.  He was still pumped for hunting.

Second day of hunting for Hayden.  He and Johnny and Johnny Lopez just shot at a buck.  No luck.
A shoot and a miss.  They were very far from two bucks here.

Hayden looking in a canyon for a deer. He didn't get one this weekend, but he has the best attitude about it... when its his turn to shoot!

The Miracle Worker

Aerin participated in one act play last weekend - and they got 2nd!!! - and her class performed "The Miracle Worker" about Helen Keller.  It was very good.  We enjoyed it so much.  She was excellant!  Aerin played a blind girl in an institution.  She told us that she looked up into the lights and it was just like being blind - she couldn't see anything!  She's a method actor!

Her fans eagerly waiting to see her.

Halloween - early

Its been sprit week this week at the Jr. High.  Or, as I call it, excuse to dress up and do crazy stuff week.  And today, its wear your costume and get candy day.  Its probably not officially called that, but it should be.
Hayden the monkey, like the one in Bruno Mars' video for "THE LAZY SONG" - giving me attitude even in a mask!

More Hayden attitude going on in this picture too.  And Tyler is a World War II soldier, just like his great grandad.  Very cool.  Handsome like his great grandad too.

Thats more like it.  He'll be striking this pose all day.  I just have a feeling...

I took this picture of Tyler and made it look old.  I think its really cool.

And they WON!!!

Not our beloved Rangers - YET - but our 8th Grade Sanford Fritch Eagles!!!  They ended the season with a win over the Spearman Linx... just like last year... wish we had played them earlier in the year!
