Spring pictures

Look at this gorgeous tree in our front yard that makes my eyes water, my nose run, and sinus headaches plague my family.... its so pretty. Spring is here! I recommend Sudafed 12 hour sinus and allergy. Seems to work really well for us!

Mr. Bee.... please stay in the flowers and away from my family... thank you.

Easter Weekend This and That

Kids - "Mom, are we hunting Easter eggs at Grandma's or here?"

Mom - "Well..."

Johnny - "You guys are too old to hunt Easter eggs"

Tyler - "No we're not"

Mom - "What age will you be too old?"

Tyler - "....13?" (he's 12)

And so here are Easter Egg hunting pictures. Aerin has a sprained ankle in these pictures, but she didn't let her crutches get in the way. And Grandma showing some love with her confetti eggs... see I guess Grandma's not 13 yet either!

Tyler's District Meet

Last track meet this year for our 7th Grader. His goal was to beat 30 seconds. That's all that really mattered to him... just to beat 30 seconds. I think he looks like a deer running here....

And now you can watch Tyler run a 29.62 second, 200 meter dash and place 6th over all in district!! He ran as hard as he could and it was worth it.

Great job Tyler you did it!!! We can't wait for next season!!

Our Project of the Week....

This is the "before" picture of the Toyota hunting truck that we've all come to love... but Johnny and others involved made the decision that we needed it to be a flat bed truck, so off came the bed. Then they decided they needed to bolt a bench seat to the flat bed and add about 7 more lights so that we can hog hunt from the truck at the lease. And of course, I thought he must be a genius, because never ever in my wildest dreams would I have thought to do such a cool thing!

I believe the Beverly Hillbillies had a rocking chair on the back of their truck... Not nearly as cool as this!
