The boys assure me... they aren't too old for this!
Hayden is a sceeery biker!
And Tyler is Ozzy Ozborne. And he was talking in an English accent when I dropped him off at the Junior High and he kept calling me Sharon ... it will be a long day for his teachers!

More pictures from the lease
We took the kids to the lease this weekend for some hunting and fishing. Aerin and Johnny took to the tree stand - where Johnny shot a big tom turkey... but the coyotes got to it before he could even get down out of the tree to retrieve it!! Notice a pattern here... we have a coyote problem!
And we heard the coyotes going at Johnny's turkey, we just didn't realize it!
And even in October, we can manage to catch a couple of fish in the cold cold stream. The kids had a great time together just hanging out.

The kids look like they aren't too happy here.... I'm not sure what happened before this picture was taken, but it doesn't look good.

Its that time of year again....
Yes, its Johnny's Christmas!!! We have jumped into hunting season and so far, we haven't missed a single opportunity to be up in the tree stand (my scary place, I don't like heights!), or in the ground blind. And so far we've had a successful season!! Aerin shot this big nasty hog from the tree stand... and its gross and it smelled so so bad when we found it - and we found it after the coyotes found it.
This is the pigs' skull after it was all cleaned up..... ITS HUGE!!!
This is the awesome cool stand that Johnny and the boys built.
Oh.... and this is my WHITETAIL BUCK that I shot!!! Its the first buck I've ever gotten with my bow and I'm super proud! I named him Dakota....
because this is Dakota, our cousin's dog. Dakota tracked and found my buck, about 75 yards from where I shot him, in the dark! He's a pretty awesome dog!!! Thank you Dakota.
One more game to go!
The Eagles have one more football game to end the season. While they haven't gotten a win yet, they have learned so much about the game... and ended their last home game in a tie with Abernathy, 14 to 14. Tyler made the GAME SAVING TACKLE on a huge giant 7th grader - ok, maybe not a giant, but he was big. And we are so so proud!! Why no picture you ask? Because momma was sitting in a down pour of blowing rain and I didn't take my camera... I know, I know... I'll do better next time!
But here is a picture of our game against Dimmitt and Tyler going for a tackle.
Our final game is Thursday in Spearman. GO EAGLES!!!
